So, last year, the children made a "JUNE FUN" list for that whole month that we took a break from school...it was such a success that they wanted to compile a list for this year's "SUMMER FUN":

Making the list was this extreme balance of letting the children feel as if they really had ownership over what went on the list, while keeping the items manageable enough to actually accomplish them. I will say they did pretty good with not making too many outlandish plans -- and they were able to keep the amount of outings in check, too!
